"We're burning dollars."
A customer said that to us on a recent site visit. The site is producing biogas, but not yet using it for power generation.
Here's the thing about producing biogas: the most expensive part of a CHP project is already done.
CHP runs that gas through an onsite engine to generate electricity and recover heat for process loads. One fuel, two useful outputs.
The site we quoted came in under four years to payback. Every site looks different, but for biogas producers, the numbers are usually worth running. Get in touch and we'll run yours.
