The FLINTstones hit the fairways for a great cause! ⛳

Our team enjoyed taking part in the 39th Annual Shell Golf Tournament supporting the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation last week.

It was a great day spent connecting with industry partners, enjoying some friendly competition, and supporting an organization that makes a meaningful difference for children and families across Alberta.

WE ARE FLINT

The people, teams, and projects behind the results.

We are excited to launch We Are FLINT, a new series celebrating the people, teams, projects, and partnerships that help deliver results for our clients.

To kick things off, we are featuring Andrew Grant, PMP, Area Manager in Fort McMurray.

Since joining FLINT in 2006 as an electrical apprentice, Andrew has built two decades of experience across Quality Control, Project Management, and Operations leadership. Today, he plays a key role in supporting FLINT's construction and maintenance operations in Fort McMurray, helping deliver safe, reliable, and efficient solutions for our clients.

Working alongside dedicated field and operational teams, Andrew helps ensure projects are planned effectively, executed safely, and completed to the high standards our clients expect. His commitment to people, operational excellence, and client success reflects what We Are FLINT is all about.

Because behind every successful project is a team making it happen.

We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Project Forest and support the meaningful work being done at Siksika Nation and beyond.

Thank you to the Project Forest team for your leadership and dedication to environmental restoration and community impact. We are grateful for the opportunity to support initiatives that create lasting benefits for future generations. 💚🌱

We’re proud to recognize FLINT Corp. as a long-standing Project Forest partner and part of the work taking root at Siksika Nation.

As a Silver Orchard Partner, FLINT’s continued support helps move meaningful restoration forward through collaboration, environmental leadership and care for the land.

Partnerships like this make a real difference. It helps create the conditions for long-term impact, bringing people, purpose and practical action together in support of something that continues to grow beyond a single planting season.

Thank you, FLINT, for being part of this work. 💚

Today, FLINT proudly joins communities across Canada in recognizing National Indigenous Peoples Day and celebrating the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

At FLINT, we are grateful for the relationships we have built with Indigenous communities and partners across the regions where we live and work. These connections create opportunities to learn from one another, celebrate shared successes, and deepen our understanding of the importance of culture, community, and collaboration.

Today, we celebrate the resilience, achievements, and vibrant cultures of Indigenous Peoples and acknowledge the lasting contributions they continue to make to our communities, workplaces, and country.

Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day from all of us at FLINT.

National Indigenous History Month is a time to recognize, celebrate, and learn from the rich histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis across Turtle Island.

At FLINT, we are committed to building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities and creating opportunities for learning, understanding, and inclusion across our organization. Over the past year, we have continued to strengthen this commitment through the work of our Indigenous Relations Circle, an employee-led resource group that creates space for cultural awareness, education, and connection through workshops, storytelling, ceremonies, and shared experiences.

National Indigenous History Month is an opportunity to honour Indigenous voices, perspectives, and achievements while recognizing that reconciliation is an ongoing journey built on respect, understanding, and meaningful action.

To our Indigenous partners, employees, communities, and all our relations across Turtle Island, we extend our gratitude and wish you a meaningful National Indigenous History Month.

is a reminder that sustainability is shaped by the everyday choices we make.

At FLINT, sustainability is embedded into how we work, from daily operations and project planning to the way we make decisions and work alongside our partners and communities. It is not a single initiative, but part of how we approach our work each day.

This Earth Day, we are reflecting on the value of consistent action - how even small, practical steps, both at work and at home, contribute to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future.

As we head into International Women’s Day this Sunday, we are proud to reflect on a meaningful week at FLINT recognizing both International Women’s Day and Women in Construction Week.

This week, we celebrated the women who contribute to our teams, our projects, and our industry - through a leadership panel discussion focused on this year’s theme, Give to Gain, and by spotlighting women working across our project teams.

Thank you to the women across FLINT whose skill, dedication, and professionalism continue to strengthen our teams and move our industry forward. International Women’s Day and Women in Construction Week remind us that while progress has been made, continued action is essential to building workplaces grounded in inclusion, opportunity, and respect.

This week our recruitment team attended the CAREERS Next Gen Internship Fair at Central Memorial High School.

It was an inspiring evening connecting with hundreds of students and their families, exploring career pathways in the skilled trades, and sharing insights about the dual credit Registered Apprentice Program. The conversations were engaging, meaningful, and full of curiosity about the future of work!

Our team is excited to continue these conversations at upcoming CAREERS Next Gen Internship Fairs:
• Notre Dame High School — March 31
• James Fowler High School — April 22

If you are attending, be sure to stop by and chat with the FLINT team – we would love to meet you!
