Do I need IPAF or PASMA training? 🤔

Short answer: depends what you're standing on.

IPAF covers powered access, for example cherry pickers and scissor lifts. PASMA is all about mobile access towers.

Different kit carries different risks.

We break it down in our latest blog, including what each course covers, how long it takes, and how to pick the right one for your job. Read it here: https://accessaberdeen.co.uk/ipaf-training-vs-pasma-training-which-course-do-you-need/

At APA, our in-house accredited instructors deliver both IPAF and PASMA training.

Compact enough to fit through a standard doorway before reaching almost 15 metres in working height, the CMC S15 Spider Lift is one of the most versatile machines in our fleet. Do you know what LOLER means for your safety and compliance?

LOLER inspections aren’t optional. They’re the foundation for ensuring everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.

Anyone using lifting equipment in the UK must comply with The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) inspections. This sets the standards for how lifting equipment must be examined and maintained.

At APA, we don't stop there. Every machine in our fleet of more than 350 undergoes a pre-delivery inspection before leaving our yard, giving our customers confidence that their equipment is ready to perform safely and reliably.

In our latest blog we explore why LOLER inspections are so crucial and how APA’s consistent, disciplined approach to inspection and maintenance helps customers work safely and efficiently.
