🥛 Müller has announced a 2ppl milk price increase for October, as the wider recovery in prices continues.

Barbers and Freshways have also announced substantial October increases, while Arla’s conventional price rose again in September.

Freshways said the obstacles facing processors earlier in the year were beginning to ease, following a sharp dip in average prices during the spring.

The UK dairy sector has too little added value processing and certainly too little marketing. UK dairy farmers are totally subservient to foreign controlling interests. This is surely a much greater threat than FIT? Isnt it time that government backed GB processors? Are there any?
