We’re pleased to announce the start of our Winter Maintenance Programme for TUI Airways at our East Midlands Airport base maintenance facility. The first Boeing 737-800 has now arrived, marking the beginning of a busy season for the BCT team.

Running from October 2026 through to March 2027, the programme will see multiple aircraft undergo routine scheduled maintenance, supporting fleet reliability and operational readiness for the flying schedule ahead.

We’d like to thank TUI Airways for once again entrusting BCT with the maintenance of its aircraft. We value our long-standing relationship and look forward to supporting the airline throughout another successful winter maintenance programme.

BCT Aviation Maintenance has successfully completed an A320 6-Year C Check at our base maintenance facility at East Midlands Airport (EMA) on behalf of Advantage Aviation Services Sweden AB.

Following extensive inspections, the project included structural work carried out in conjunction with Airbus, incorporating complex repair schemes and showcasing the technical expertise of our engineering team.

Upon completion of the check, the aircraft was painted by our valued partners at Airbourne Colours before departing EMA, ready to enter service with its new operator.

A huge thank you to Advantage Asset Sweden, Airbourne Colours and the entire BCT team for their collaboration, hard work and commitment throughout the project.

We wish the aircraft every success as it begins its next chapter.

We are pleased to share that BCT has begun supporting Turkish airline SunExpress operations at Manchester and Birmingham line stations.

This has been enabled through the expansion of our EASA Part 145 Turkish Approval, adding both locations and extending our capability to include Boeing 737NG and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

Our approvals now cover Airbus A330, A319/A320/A321, and Boeing 737NG/MAX aircraft types, reinforcing BCT’s position as a trusted MRO partner across multiple fleets and locations. 🇹🇷
