After almost 40 years in the livestock supplement industry, the brand synonymous with quality has branched into a new market. Nutra-Lix launched their brand-new liquid feed supplement geared towards providing whole herd health to Cavia porcellus or most known as the guinea pig.

“We have found that these pigs thrive on our specially formulated liquid feed. It’s very exciting and has opened a whole new division for Nutra-Lix,” said George Yost, owner, “It really just makes a lot of sense for us after developing the leading liquid supplement on the market”.

As a leader in the livestock supplement world this new endeavor is a natural progression for the company. Guinea pigs were originally bred and domesticated as livestock, and specifically for their meat, in the Andean region, and they are still consumed in some parts of the world. Customers can expect the same nutritionally advanced liquid supplement they have come to rely on with our cattle and equine supplements including a complete vitamin and chelated mineral package specific to Guinea pig nutritional needs.
