Big smiles, little explorers and one very big day out.

More than 400 RCC team members, family and friends came together at Sydney Zoo for RCC Family Day, a much-loved event fully hosted by RCC to thank our people and those who support them.

RCC Family Day reflects something simple but important. Our people matter, and so do the families, friendships and connections behind them.

From keeper talks and ice-cream stops to lion spotting and reptile encounters, the day was a reminder of what makes RCC strong. People, family and time together.

Two cranes now proudly fly their names above the Sydney Biomedical Accelerator site, thanks to students from Newtown North Public School and primary-aged relatives from the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Through the RCC Name the Crane competition, students were invited to name the cranes helping deliver this state-of-the-art health, education and biomedical research complex.
Congratulations to Zoe Happy Scott (RPA Hospital) and August Mamas (Newtown North Public School), whose winning crane names, ‘Dulili’ and ‘Sir Luffs A Lot’, were announced at the naming ceremony.

RCC was also proud to present $2,000 each to Newtown North Public School and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, reflecting our ongoing commitment to education, health and research infrastructure that supports better outcomes for generations.

RCCs delivery team is incredibly proud to have raised an outstanding $51,980 through the Integrated Mental Health Complex Westmead Easter Raffle.

These funds will directly support the Cumberland Mental Health Services Team in delivering vital programs for current and future consumers making a meaningful difference where it matters most.

This initiative is part of the broader vision for the new purpose-built Integrated Mental Health Complex within the Westmead Health Precinct. Once complete, it will enable services currently located at the Cumberland Hospital to relocate to a modern, connected facility alongside Westmead Hospital—enhancing care, accessibility and outcomes.

With such a great turnout, the event was a genuine reflection of the collective commitment, generosity and care shared across the whole team.

Sponsored by RCC and Yaga Corporation, with special thanks to our generous raffle donors.
