In recognition of Black Business Month, the latest Crossroads blog takes us to historic 4th Avenue North, once the economic heart of Black Birmingham and home to generations of entrepreneurs who built businesses, created opportunities, and strengthened their community. ๐๏ธโจ
As the Crossroads project continues to take shape, the vision for 4th Avenue looks toward the future while honoring that legacy. Streetscape improvements, public art, wayfinding, and other enhancements are designed to help support a new generation of businesses while sharing the stories that make this corridor so significant.
